Getting Started
Welcome to Scriptris! Our AI-powered chat platform helps you analyze, summarize, and extract insights from PDF documents. Whether you're a student, researcher, or professional, Scriptris makes document analysis fast and intuitive.
Using the Chat
Chat with our AI assistant about anything or analyze your documents.
How to Chat
- Click New Chat in the sidebar to start a fresh conversation
- Add a PDF from PC or from "My Files" to analyze its content
- Type your question or message in the input box at the bottom
- The AI responds in real-time with intelligent answers from your PDF
- Continue asking follow-up questions to dive deeper or you can use "Add to search" button to find in more PDFs
Tip
You can upload same file to multiple chats for different analyses, it will consume credit only once.

Change Language
Get AI responses in your preferred language.
How to Change Language
- Click the globe icon in the chat input area
- Select your preferred language from the list
- The AI will respond in that language immediately
- Change language anytime during your conversation

Chapter Summaries
Automatically detect and summarize each chapter.
- Upload a PDF document to your chat
- Select Chapters Summary
- Choose the document you want to summarize
- Select your preferred language
- Click "Generate Summary"
- Download the generated PDF with organized chapter summaries
Warning
Use this function only for small documents. This is built for small documents and will take many credits for large documents. Use Level Summary instead or report.
Level Summaries
Control the detail level of your summaries (1-7).
- Upload your PDF document
- Select Level Summary
- Choose your document
- Select a summary level:
- Level 1-2: Brief overview (quick read)
- Level 3-5: Balanced summary (moderate detail)
- Level 6-7: Detailed analysis (comprehensive)
- Choose your language
- Generate and download your customized summary
Higher levels provide more detail but cost more coins.
Generate Reports
Extract information about specific topics from your documents.
- Upload the document you want to analyze
- Select Report
- Choose your document
- Enter a specific topic or question (e.g., "Climate change impacts", "Economic trends")
- Choose your language
- The AI extracts and synthesizes only relevant information
- Download your focused report as a PDF

Manage Your Files
View, search, and delete your uploaded PDFs.
File Management
- Click "My Files" in the sidebar
- View all uploaded PDFs with details (pages, upload date, file size)
- Use the search bar to quickly find specific documents
- Click on a file to use it in a new chat
- Click the delete icon to remove unwanted files
Warning
Deleted files are permanently removed from all chats.
AI-Generated PDFs
Download and manage all AI-generated documents.
Accessing AI PDFs
- Click AI PDFs in the sidebar
- View all summaries and reports you've generated
- Each PDF is labeled with its type (Chapter Summary, Level Summary, Report)
- Use the search bar to find specific PDFs
- Click the download icon to save to your device
- Click the delete icon to remove PDFs you no longer need
Tip
All generated PDFs are stored here so you can download them again without regenerating (and without spending more coins!)
